On December 8, a team composed of four undergraduate students, Ye Yuhan(School of Business Administration),Wu Tong (School of Accounting), Song Yaoting(School of Accounting) and Tu Yu (International School), under the joint guidance of Zhang Shougang and Zhao Xing (faculty of School of Business Administration), has stood out among the many participating teams from various countries in the 27th Annual NIBS Worldwide Case Competition, successfully advanced to the top 16. The team will participate in the final round (Championship Round)in March 2023, competing with 15 high-level teams from the United States, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands and other countries.
Since JUFE officially joined NIBS in July 2013, it is the 7th time that has qualified as the top 16 for the final round. This shows the professional strength and academic style of our students, and the international influence of the university has been further enhanced.
This year's participating teams are strictly selected from all schools of JUFE, and are carefully organized by the School of Business Administration under the guidance of the Office of International Cooperation and Exchange. After more than 2 months of hard study and training, the cohesion of the team has continued to increase, and each case has expanded the knowledge of the team members and improved their abilities. The English case analysis report finally submitted by the 4 participating team members won a high evaluation from the academic circles and the professional review in the industry, which fully demonstrated the professional level and spiritual outlook of Jiangcai students.
NIBS (Network of International Business Schools) was established in 1993. It is an educational cooperation platform composed of more than 70 high-level business universities from more than 30 countries such as the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, and China. Professional competitions such as global case competitions and global business planning competitions are regularly held every year to promote exchanges and communication among students from member schools, expand students' international vision, and cultivate students' awareness of international competitiveness.
